Given the world in which we live, we believe it is the duty of every individual to be watchful of their environmental footprint. But even more so, we believe it is the duty of industries to be aware of their impact on the environment. ISHO strives to make eco-friendly products and innovate to find ways to produce pieces that properly address climate change and its causes. Be it reducing waste in our rivers, reusing materials, using sustainably sourced materials, or using solar panels to power lamps in areas without electricity: ISHO is determined to respond to environmental, economic and social challenges with innovation and enthusiasm. We aim to construct a circular economy in which the waste we produce is recycled.
Sourcing and Suppliers ISHO only sources its materials from certified suppliers, refusing to work with unauthorized providers of wood. While sourcing local wood, we only use Mahogany wood that are more than 40 years old and while importing, we ensure the suppliers have the correct timber certifications for sustainable development. The reasoning for this is twofold: Quality and Sustainability. We independently vet and verify the sources of our wood to ensure they meet our standards.
